Shawn Lovorn,
Managing Partner

  • Shawn Lovorn received a B.S. in Biochemistry from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. Following his undergrad degree, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2005 and started the Lovorn Law Firm, PLLC. As a litigator, he handles all types of criminal defense matters and family law.

    Outside of his work at the firm, Mr. Lovorn serves as the Board President for Communicare Health Centers. His dedication to both business and community was recognized in 2024 when he was named the Businessman of the Year by the Boerne Chamber of Commerce.

 

Casey Lee,
Associate Attorney

Rising Stars Casey Lee
  • Casey Lee represents clients in complex family law matters, including domestic violence, divorce, child custody, and child support cases. Casey earned her law degree in 2015 from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC.

    Casey is licensed to practice law in Texas and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. She serves on the board of the Family Law Section of the San Antonio Bar Association, as well as the Board of Directors for the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association and Foundation.

 

Tom Railsback,

Super Lawyers Tom Railback
  • Tom Railsback is a native Texan and an experienced attorney with a focus on family law. He graduated from SMU with a BA in Government and Economics and earned his Juris Doctor from SMU's Dedman School of Law. Licensed to practice in Texas since 1970, Mr. Railsback is an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam, a former JAG officer, and was selected for assignment to the USAF Trial Judiciary. Board Certified in Family Law since 1982, he has extensive experience handling family law cases throughout Texas. He joined Lovorn Law Firm in 2018, bringing his expertise in the litigation of complex family law cases, as well as his training and work as a mediator and collaborative law lawyer, to the team. 

 
 
 

Crystal Pacheco
Associate Attorney

  • Crystal Pacheco received a B.A. with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas. She was also member of the Honors College and graduated Cum Laude. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2011, and has worked in a variety of practice areas, including working as a criminal prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. As a trial attorney, she handles all types of criminal defense matters and complex family law litigation, including divorce, child custody, and CPS litigation.

  • Jake Morrison has focused his legal career in a variety of fields, including financial and securities disputes, high-net-worth estate planning, and business development. As a litigator, he has advocated for his clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations across the country. He values providing his clients with defensible, long-lasting products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. 

    Jake graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Political Science and Statistics. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate in 2023 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year

 
 

Leigh Ann Greenberg,
Associate Attorney, PharmD, RPh

  • Dr. Leigh Ann Greenberg practices in several areas of law including family law, probate, and estate planning. She also enjoys helping start-up business owners with their LLC formations, contract reviews, and employment agreements.

    Leigh Ann graduated from Angelo State University with a B.S. in Chemistry. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She owned and operated Annie's Apothecary, a compounding pharmacy, in Boerne for 16 years. Dr. Greenberg recently earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary's Law School and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2023.

    She recently published her first book, The Graceful Goodbye: The Step-by-step Guide to Divorce without Destroying Your Family and Finances.

Ryan Sprayberry,
Chief Operating Officer

  • Ryan Sprayberry received a Bachelor’s in History with a minor in World Religion from Baylor University. He continued his education by receiving an MA in American History from George Washington University in 2015 and an MBA from UTSA in 2019. Ryan joined the Lovorn Law Firm team in 2017 and works directly alongside the partners in making firm decisions and setting operational goals. He supervises staff, oversees the customer support processes and manages many of the firm's moving parts.

 

Misty Stout,
Marketing Director/Culture Coordinator

  • Misty Stout graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Misty joined the Lovorn Law Firm team as a contract social media specialist in January 2016 and officially joined the team as the Marketing Director in October of 2018. Misty’s primary roles include coordinating marketing efforts, team camaraderie, and community awareness/involvement.

 

Cecily Schumacher,
Client Care Specialist & Paralegal

  • Cecily Schumacher grew up right here in Boerne, TX. She has always had a passion for teaching and taking care of children. Cecily recently chose to dive into the legal world and officially joined the team in January of 2021. She is eager to learn from our experienced paralegals and is excited for the new venture.

 
 
 

Graciela Mitchell,
Board Certified Criminal Law Paralegal & Client Care Specialist

  • Graciela Mitchell has been with Lovorn Law Firm since 2016 and has 18 years’ experience as a paralegal. Prior to working for LLF, she worked for an attorney and two law enforcement agencies. Graciela has a Bachelor of Arts in PSOD and a Master of Arts in Organizational Development, both from the University of the Incarnate Word. In addition, Graciela is a Board-Certified Criminal Paralegal with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

    Graciela is passionate about Veteran and Mental Health Services and is becoming more involved in these areas to better serve not only her clients but the Boerne Community as a whole. Graciela grew up in Boerne and has a long line of family history in the community. Graciela’s paternal grandparents opened the first cleaners in Boerne in 1956 called, “Mitchell Cleaners”. It is still in existence today. This past Fall, Boerne I.S.D. named one of their newest schools after these same individuals. It is the “George and Baudelia Mitchell Learning Center.” This was because of their commitment and dedication to helping others in the community. They demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to serving others in need. This philosophy has been passed down to their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They truly led by example.

    Graciela takes pride in the fact that she is a lifelong resident of Boerne. She has fostered many personal and professional relationships not only in Boerne but the surrounding counties. These relationships entail trust, mutual respect, and integrity when working with community leaders, law enforcement agencies, and members of the Court. Graciela is dedicated to working with her clients and helping them navigate through the criminal justice system and its processes. Availability, client communication, and respect are essential components in how Graciela works and treats her clients.

    Graciela has one son who just completed his time in the Unites States Navy. He is looking forward to his next chapter. She loves football Sundays, grilling with her family and friends, and playing cards/boardgames. She is a Boerne High School Graduate, loves the Greyhounds, and is a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, GO HOUNDS!!! GO COWBOYS!!!

 

Heidi Helstrom,
Board Certified Family Law Paralegal & Client Care Specialist

  • Heidi Helstrom is a highly experienced and dedicated professional specializing in family law, with over 21 years of legal experience in the field. She has been a valued member of Lovorn Law Firm, PLLC since 2021, where she focuses on Family Law.

    Heidi’s legal journey began in 1990 when she earned her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Technology from an ABA-approved program in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Following her degree, she worked in family law with a sole practitioner. Heidi also gained valuable experience in Corporate and Securities Law during her time with Wright, Lindsey & Jennings in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    After relocating to Texas, Heidi completed the Paralegal Program at the University of Texas at San Antonio and achieved her Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants in January 2010. In 2019, she earned her Board-Certified Paralegal status in Family Law, demonstrating her exceptional knowledge and expertise in this area. Heidi is an active member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, and the San Antonio Paralegal Association,

    A proud military child, Heidi grew up living across the globe, including Italy, England, and various parts of the United States. She now resides in San Antonio, Texas, where she enjoys spending time with her three daughters and seven grandchildren.

 

Simona Cude,
Paralegal & Client Care Specialist

  • Simona Cude graduated from Stefan Cel Mare University, Suceava, Romania in 2008, with a double major in English and German – Language and Literature. In 2011, she graduated from Kaplan University - Paralegal Certificate Program, in Denver, CO. While employed by Lovorn Law Firm, she has gained valuable knowledge and expertise in Family, Business and Probate Law, as well as in Wills, Estate and Trusts.

 
 
 

Jordan Estrada,
Paralegal & Client Care Specialist

  • Jordan has been an integral part of Lovorn Law Firm since 2023, where she has developed a strong expertise in Probate, Wills, and Estates. After completing two phases of her Paralegal program at UTSA, she made the decisive choice to return to school full-time. She is currently on track to complete her B.S. in Law & Policy: Pre-Law with a minor in Biblical Studies at Liberty University and is fully committed to advancing her legal career in law school. As a survivor, Jordan recently took the stage as a keynote speaker for Transformation House in their Hope in the Dark Series. She is a fierce advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse and is committed to making a difference in this vital area.
